I tried Monochrome once...

Whenever I find myself flicking through the pages of Vogue or Company, the Monochrome outfits always stand out to me as being the most fresh, crisp looking. They just look so simple and effortless. It seems if I try to recreate a 'simple, effortless' ensemble, I end up with tea stained pyjama bottoms and a baggy tee. But nevertheless I woke up this morning determined to try my hand at the Monochrome trend.

Paisley is by far my favourite print this summer. It just makes any outfit seem so happy and smiley (don't ask, I don't know). I hope to be wearing a lot of Paisley over the sunny period (if we are blessed with one).

I am aware that a baggy, white, tied shirt screams 'mother of three, dressed as a Pirate for halloween' but something about it worked quite well with the flimsy shorts and suede sandals. It wasn't the nicest day but I appear to be having a sort of 'trouser strike', so I just had to bare with the cold.
