A Day on Campus

Whilst staying over here in America, I have had the fantastic opportunity to attend a week camp, hosted on the beautiful university campus of Warren Wilson College. This is my fourth time here and each visit has left me with an even greater sense of just how peaceful and productive life as a student here must be. I still have no idea what I want to study, but if Warren Wilson College offers an attractive course, it would be more than in the running for my potential university (the only downside being how far away from home it is). I would like to make it clear that these photographs don't do the campus the justice they should, it is really far more beautiful than it might appear so here is their website so you can check it out for yourself. :)

The weather during my stay has been hilariously ironic. Whilst here I'm experiencing unseasonal rain and flooding (almost monsoon like), back home are enjoying temperatures reaching 30 degrees Celsius. Of course. Just of course. But nevertheless, between monsoons I have been taking full advantage of the HOT weather here and managing to wear summery clothes, otherwise completely forgotten about at home. This top and sandals were new purchases especially with this trip in mind. Giving that anything Cat-related pretty much has me at hello, I would not have been able to board that plane with a clear conscience, had I not purchased this cutie. And the sandals too (notice how the denim colour matches the cat's eyes? Yeh, that was totally planed btw).
During the days here I find the quirky college coffee shop provides some much needed refuge from the humidity and what it does to my hair. Plus their huge variety of hippeish, eco-friendly drinks are a huge bonus.
